Dr. Soifer will give us an accurate understanding of this learning disability, including the seven common signs of dyslexia.
In addition, she will speak about identifying and supporting students with dyslexia at school.

Qualifications:
Lydia H. Soifer, Ph.D., is a Pediatric Language and Literacy Specialist and an Educational Program Consultant. Dr. Soifer is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She focuses on guiding all educational professionals to answer the essential question, “Who is this child?” She is a contributor to local publications and Dr. Soifer provides educational consultations.
