  1. A clear definition of the concept of self-esteem will be presented.
  2. Conceptualization of self-esteem as it relates to the child’s world, his/her parents, and school/peers, will be discussed. All of this will be applied to children’s behaviors.
  3. Techniques on how to enhance a child’s self-esteem and help a child better understand him or herself will be provided.

This webinar will discuss the concept of self-esteem. Do we define it by the self within the individual, one’s view of self, internal self-esteem, or self within the one’s world i.e. community, family, etc.

  • Techniques to better enhance the child’s self-esteem.
  • Self-esteem from the child’s perspective.
