Do you feel hopeless, anxious, burnt out, or unsure of what to do? You often find yourself wondering what you can do to help alleviate this pain in yourself, your teen, or your relationship. Things have negatively changed and sometimes you worry that it might get worse. Your relationships are not thriving. It's so hard and you want to be the best you can, but how? You know that you, your marriage, or your teen have so much potential – where did it go? You try to hide it but it is exhausting and you are tired. It can be scary to reach out to a counselor. You want to make sure you find someone who can really connect with you, your significant other, or your teen and trust that person to keep you in the loop. Imagine what feeling better would be like, to have good communication; to not constantly worry about your life, child or spouse.
Imagine yourself or loved one being able to handle everyday life without the weight of anxiety, sadness, or burnout; to feel confident, secure, and free; knowing how to handle difficult situations, and to have an intimate fulfilling relationship. I welcome you to a safe and nonjudgmental environment where you can discover skills to grow and heal in order to feel joy and purpose again. My underlying approach can be described as being supportive, and relationship-based, while also integrating research & evidenced-based strategies.
I enjoy working with all ages from 10 years on up and have expertise in particular with adolescents, women, and couples. I know it takes courage to reach out for help, and I promise to give you my best. In addition to daytime session times, I also offer weekend and evening appointment times in order to accommodate all my clients.
