For me, therapy is the process of "Inner Work" becoming "Outer Movement" finding solutions to issues in ways which have never been considered before. "Aha Moments" can empower people to grow and live in new ways. I use an approach that is caring and encouraging. I am dedicated to helping clients discover their potential as human beings through the integration of mind, body & spirit.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and offer psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, families and adolescents. I earned my MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University – Los Angeles. In addition to my degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology, I hold a Master’s Degree in Philosophy/Theology from WTS, Dubuque, IA. I have also been working as a therapist for the last nine years with the Adult Outpatient Program at Sharp Mesa Vista Psychiatric Hospital and have extensive experience with chronic mental illness.
I served as the President of the San Diego Chapter of CA Marriage & Family Therapists, from 2006-09. I am currently a clinical member of the State CAMFT Organization and AAMFT - American Association of Marriage & Family Therapists. In San Diego, I am a member of the Greater San Diego Business Association (GSDBA).
